Popular Nigerian singer, Oladapo Daniel Oyebanjo, known as D’banj, criticized a man who sang Wizkid’s song ‘Reckless’.
The unidentified man auditioned for the ongoing ‘Nigeria Idol’.
Judges Dbanj, Simi and Obi Asika returned to the show last month after Progress Chukwuyem won last year’s edition.
In the audition that aired on Africa Magic on Sunday, one of the contestants performed Wizkid’s popular hit song, Reckless.
However, the performance of the middle-aged Nigerian idol contestant who came to perform Wizkid’s hit song Reckless went awry as it did not meet the expectations of the judges.
Amused by her performance, the judges burst into uncontrollable laughter.
Reacting, Dbanj described the performance as a disaster and turned it down.
He said, “You’re not just a star, you’re a big mess.”
