Fans love Lego, as evidenced by Legoland in Florida and California, the giant, still hugely popular Lego store at the Mall of America, and its general proliferation in the toy aisles.
So Brick Burger, a pop-up that will sell burgers on Lego brick-shaped buns for just two days in December in Minneapolis, should be a no-brainer.
But would you pay $47 for one of these tricks? That’s one ticket, and while it includes a drink (beer, wine or soft drink), it might be a record for the price of a burger in the Twin Cities.
A press release informs us that the burger is “a unique twist on a timeless classic” and that the pop-up, which will remain without an undisclosed storefront on Lyndale Avenue South, will offer “an unparalleled dining experience for families and foodies of burgers. alike.”
Options include beef, vegetables or chicken fillets, and of course there will be Lego everywhere – Lego brick walls, Lego themed furniture and a brick building station.
