* WHAT… West winds 20 to 30 mph gusting to 45 mph.

* WHERE… Salton Sea, southeast Imperial County and west
Imperial County.

* WHEN… Until 5 am PDT on Wednesday.

* IMPACTS…Difficult driving conditions, especially for larger vehicles
vehicles traveling on roads with crosswinds. Light,
unsecured objects may fly away.
A wind advisory means sustained wind speeds between
Expect 30 to 40 mph, or gusts of 40 to
58 mph Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially
for high profile vehicles. Also, strong winds over the desert
areas could result in briefly reduced visibilities to well below
a mile sometimes in dust or sand. use extra
caution.
