(NewsNation) — An HVAC utility repairman was allegedly at the University of Idaho crime scene
and some speculate that the technician could be helping with the investigation.
Veteran researcher Mike King, presenting the “outlining evilhe told NewsNation’s “Banfield” on Wednesday that people should wait until more information is released before speculating.
“They are getting pretty close to what appears to be coming to an end. Could it be that they are starting to consider disaster cleanup? Or maybe the heating went out? said the king.
King, who has been director of a cold unit, says he doesn’t think the Idaho case is “anywhere close to cold.” King thinks he’ll get more information from the students in the interviews now that they’re back from Thanksgiving break.
“That being said, you need to treat it like a cold case and start bringing in whatever resources you can to support. And this department has done a pretty impressive job of bringing together the state and federal resources to support them. It doesn’t seem like there are any real egos getting in the way of trying to find the truth,” King said.
Police on Wednesday announced that they need help locating a white 2011-2013 Hyundai Elantra that was seen near a crime scene at the University of Idaho.
