Rogers spent 10 productive seasons as an NFL cornerback, playing for Washington, San Francisco and Oakland. In 2020, he pleaded guilty to one count of conspiring to defraud a program set up to reimburse former players for his out-of-pocket medical expenses. In 2019, Rogers pleaded guilty to fraud after Rogers and other former NFL players were accused of submitting $4 million in fraudulent health care claims. Rogers was sentenced to house arrest and community service.
