UFC flyweight claims Muhammad Mokaev has blocked him “again” on Twitter

Jake Hadley revealed that Muhammad Mokaev blocked him on social media again.

There is a huge rivalry brewing in the UFC flyweight division between two rising prospects. Hadley and Mokaev fought at UFC 286, securing inside-distance victories. After knocking out Malcolm Gordon in the first round, ‘White Kong’ called out ‘The Punisher’, claiming that the latter is afraid to fight him. The Birmingham native followed on Twitter saying:

“Mokeav blocked me again”

After winning a UFC contract in Dana White Contender Series, Hadley lost his promotional debut against Allan Nascimento. He went on to win his next two fights, cementing himself as a prospect to watch.

Mokaev, meanwhile, has a 4-0 record in the UFC, including three submission wins. ‘The Punisher’ continues to express his goal of becoming the youngest champion in the UFC, but time is running out at 22 years old. Jon Jones holds the record for his 2011 victory against Mauricio Rua with 23.

Muhammad Mokaev not interested in fighting Jake Hadley until they qualify

Mohamed Mokayev vs. Jake Hadley has been a contentious matchup ever since both fighters joined the ufc. The problem is that Mokaev seems focused on fighting a fighter ranked next to him to continue his focus on becoming the youngest champion in the promotion’s history.

During his UFC 286 post-fight press conference, ‘The Punisher’ had this to say when asked about the possibility of fighting Hadley next:

β€œTo be honest, I want to fight tough guys. There are tougher guys. Matheus Nicolau, there is [Amir] Albazi, there are top 10. I want to fight tough guys who knock me down, I get up, I want guys like that.

“Going backwards, he is exactly [the same level] like Malcolm Gordon. I think it’s nothing special, but if he gets into the top 12, 11, it’s possible. But no, I come back again, I beat it and then they say, ‘You beat Jake Hadley. He’s like a crackhead from Birmingham.”

Although they have a lot to prove, Moakev and Hadley seem destined to be ranked flyweights. Considering that both fighters are young and exciting, it wouldn’t be surprising to see them fight in the future, especially considering that their rivalry continues to heat up.
