Tucker Carlson has posted a cryptic video on Twitter claiming that Fox News has silenced him, ending with a tantalizing: “See you soon.”
The 53-year-old was told Monday morning that he was being fired from Fox News, where he was the most-watched newscaster.
No reason was given.
“Good evening, I’m Tucker Carlson,” he declared in his clip.

Tucker Carlson posted a video on Wednesday night discussing in oblique terms the “debates” and discussions that shape America, referencing only his own firing, saying it led him “to get out of the noise for a few days.” .

Carlson became a household name through Tucker Carlson Tonight, which became Fox News’ flagship show. In 2022, it averaged around 3.3 million viewers per show.
Carlson, who was in the midst of renegotiating his $20 million a year contract when he was abruptly fired, said the response caught him by surprise.
