Tom Brady, coming out of retirement to play in Miami, ‘is 100% on the line,’ says former NFL quarterback –

Former NFL quarterback Scott Zolak insisted that a return to the field was not out of the question for Tom Brady, despite the legend’s insistence that he would not take another retirement U-turn.

Brady, 45, shut down talks about coming out of retirement for a second time earlier this week after NFL Network host Rich Eisen said he heard rumors the star would return to play for the Miami Dolphins while i I was at the Combine last week.

Despite Brady’s insistence, former New England quarterback Zolak, who currently serves as the Patriots’ radio announcer, doesn’t think so.

He claimed that Brady, coming out of retirement for the second time to ply his trade in Miami, is still on the table.

“Brady can go to Miami,” Zolak said on NBC Sports Boston. I think that is at stake. Yes. I think the possibility of him coming out of retirement is definitely 100 percent up for grabs.

‘You can sit there and watch the kitty tweet from [Tuesday.] Don’t buy that.

Zolak was referring to Brady’s tweet Tuesday that poured cold water on the retirement U-turn rumors.

The seven-time Super Bowl winner said the latest addition to his family, his 10-year-old daughter Vivian’s new kitten, was taking up too much of his time to consider returning to grass.

“Anyone who thinks I have time to go back to the NFL has never adopted a 2-month-old kitten for their daughter,” he said.

Brady’s daughter, Vivian, hacked into the former NFL quarterback’s Instagram account last month to share some photos of her newly adopted Siamese kittens.

Brady, who has two children with ex-wife Gisele Bündchen, including Vivian and 13-year-old Benjamin, initially revealed that he adopted several kittens in early February.

“Vivi wins again,” the three-time NFL MVP shared on Instagram, along with a video of his new cats play-fighting. ‘Thank you @loganryan and @coolmbreezy this is my morning now. @humansocietytampa you are in good and loving hands.’

Brady officially retired from the NFL, for the second time, last month.

Brady announced his decision on February 1 in an emotional video posted to social media.

Vivian Brady, 10, shared snaps of her Siamese cats on her father’s Instagram profile last month.

Vivian is the only daughter of the former NFL quarterback and is a fan of her father’s new kittens.

In early February, Brady revealed on social media that he was going to adopt some house pets.

The quarterback won six Super Bowls with the Patriots before adding one more with the Bucs in 2021, and his next career move was thought to be decided.

It was previously reported that Brady would transition to the broadcast booth with FOX Sports in 2024, with a ten-year, $375 million contract waiting for him.

However, earlier this week, Eisen added some doubt to the idea that Brady is no longer playing.

“This one blew my mind: Tom Brady might not be done after all,” Eisen said Monday as he shared rumors he’s heard from the NFL Combine.

“A couple of people said, ‘Wait, just wait.’ And I was like, ‘she’s uploading photos of her cat to her Instagram.’ But it doesn’t look like he’s getting big and fat, does it? Let it unfold. Let’s see who wants what.

“The only place people say you have to look is Miami,” Eisen continued.

‘If the Dolphins, in any way or manner, obtain a medical report or medical evaluation information from Tua [Tagovailoa] that maybe he’s not ready to go, and suddenly there’s Tom Brady sitting in Florida, where his family is and where he can easily locate himself. Watch out for that, a couple of birds at the Combine told me.

It had been an emotional and tumultuous 2022-23 season for Brady. On the field, Brady suffered the first losing season of his 23-year NFL career as his Tampa Bay Buccaneers team fell to an 8-9 record.

Off the field, he finalized a highly publicized divorce from his now ex-wife and supermodel Giselle Bundchen.

Bundchen and Brady were married for 13 years before their divorce was finalized in October 2022.

He won’t start his role with Fox until 2024, saying he needed to decompress from football, but Radar claims it’s actually because he wants Bundchen back.

“The biggest hurdle between them was Gisele’s complaints about Tom putting football before family, so he decided to show her that he’s willing to focus on them before taking the job at FOX,” a source told Radar. “His only goal right now is to get his family back.”

In the weeks that followed his retirement announcement, Brady seemed to spend his time mostly with his children.

Brady also has another son, Jack, 15, from his previous relationship with actress and model Bridget Moynahan.
