As the state of California promotes electric cars, this Friday the TODEC organization wants to give the community the opportunity to get to know them up close.
Starting at 5 pm outside the Coachella City Library you can drive or hop in an electric car.
Those who participate will receive a gift card.
In addition to the electric car test, the first 200 people will receive a free food box.
