The leader of the main Yoruba socio-cultural organization, Afenifere, Ayo Adebanjo, has said that Nigeria currently has no elected president despite the fact that the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, declared Bola Tinubu of the ruling All Progressives Congress the winner of the election. presidential election on February 25. .

In a recent interview with Arise TV, Pa Adebanjo insisted that what the country currently has is “a farce that will be removed in due time.”

He said that INEC got rid of the constitutional methodology and must explain to Nigerians why.

He said: “It is just the result of bad governance. A disaster that God will help us get rid of. I can assure you that there is no president-elect at all; it’s just a sham that must be removed in due time.

“This is a game we all watch. We are all living witnesses of it. Why not [INEC] follow the laws that will guide the elections?”

The 95-year-old said that the Tinubu camp in its attempt to respond to the wave of criticism that judged its controversial announcement as the winner of the presidential election, the pick up and drop off messengers which is the main issue.
