Mattel worked with the National Down Syndrome Society to launch the first Down Syndrome Barbie in 2023, Insider’s Erin McDowell reported.
according to a Press release From Mattel, the new Barbie’s face is rounder in shape, with almond-shaped eyes, smaller ears, and a flat nose bridge. The doll also wears pink leg braces.
