EA and Capital Games are bringing Middle-earth to mobile devices today as the new turn-based RPG The Lord of the Rings: Heroes of Middle-earth is now available on iOS and Android devices.
Heroes of Middle-earth will give players the chance to play through some of the most iconic scenes from The Lord of the Rings saga, from meeting the elves of Rivendell to fighting the Nazgul at Weathertop, through of story-based missions spanning the globe. franchise. Players can use each character’s unique skill set to build a team exactly to their liking before embarking on a new mission. Characters can also be customized using skills and equipment, which will be earned as rewards throughout the game and available through in-app purchases.
The game will also see regular content updates, including new characters, new story-based quests that will allow players to “explore Middle-earth with friends and foes alike.” No specific events have been revealed as of yet.
