Recent reports have surfaced stating that the injured WWE Superstar drew mcintyre he still wanted to compete despite being forced to pull out of his next match this Friday on SmackDown.
The Scottish warrior was originally slated to team up with his old friend and occasional rival, Sheamus, to take on Undisputed. WWE Couples Champions, The Usos. However, Drew tweeted last night that he won’t be able to compete in the match due to injury.
Speaking in wrestling spotter radioDave Meltzer reported that the 37-year-old star was still very interested in taking on The Usos, despite being less than 100% down.
“He’s injured. They told me he had an injury, but it’s not from a first-hand source. But he’s supposed to be back for the Christmas show. So it’s only a couple of weeks, I know. All I know is that he wanted to fight and they wouldn’t let him fight. But it’s not like it was going to be a long-term thing, at least the way it is now.” (H/T struggle)

Sheamus will now team up with his stablemate, Butch, from The Brawling Brutes. Butch and his tag team partner Ridge Holland recently had no success against The Usos as they sought to capture the gold.
WWE’s best team teases Drew McIntyre
Being one of the toughest and scariest stars on the roster, the Scotsman has a hard time walking out of a match, especially one with stakes as high as this one.
After confirming his absence from the tag team title match against The Usos, the WWE Undisputed Tag Team Champions responded to Drew on social networks.
“Nah, you just slipped away [sic]….” wrote The Usos.
