Thatgamecompany marked the launch of Sky on PlayStation with a bundle of Journey-themed items available for $25. While Sky has a greater focus on online multiplayer and live service replayability, the free-to-play title shares much of its DNA with predecessor Journey, which first released for PS3 back in 2012.
Sky: Children of the Light has been downloaded more than 160 million times on iOS, Android, and Nintendo Switch, after first launching on iOS in mid-2019.
PlayStation launch comes in time for gamers to join sky dawn seasonwhich includes a concert in the aurora music game scheduled to start right after the Game Awards this Thursday night.
