“Jurassic Park” star Sam Neill has reassured fans that he is “fine” after growing concerns about his health since revealing he was being treated for cancer.

Neill revealed his battle with stage 3 blood cancer in his upcoming memoir “Did I Ever Tell You This?”

The 75-year-old said he was soon diagnosed with angioimmunoblastic T-cell lymphoma and underwent chemotherapy until he switched to a new drug that he hopes to take every month for the rest of his life.

“I’m alive and well and I’ve been in remission for 8 months which feels great.” he said in a video shared on the platform on Friday. “And I’m alive and kicking and I’m going to work.”

Neill, who has been in remission for 8 months, said he will plunge back into screen work in a few days opposite Annette Bening in the limited series “Apples Never Fall.”

“I’m very happy to be back at work,” Neill told his 542,000 followers. “Let’s not worry too much about ‘all that’ because I’m fine. He’s fine,” the video of him concluded, referring to concerns about his earlier diagnosis.

Concerns about Neill’s health spiked on Friday after an excerpt from his book was revealed.

“The thing is, I’m a thief. Possibly dying ”, he writes in the first chapter, which comes out on Tuesday. “Maybe I have to speed this up.”

He said he never intended to write a memoir, but started doing it during treatment last year, when he realized “it was actually giving me a reason to live.”

“I found myself with… nothing to do,” Neill explained to the Guardian in an interview published Friday.

“And I am used to working. I love working. I love going to work. I love being with people every day and enjoying human company and friendship and all that stuff. And suddenly I was deprived of it. And I thought, ‘What am I going to do?’”

Neill added that she is now cancer free, although she is dependent on the monthly chemotherapy drug.

The actor rose to international fame in 1993 with his role as Dr. Alan Grant in “Jurassic Park.”

He played the same character in 2001’s “Jurassic Park III” and in the 2022 film “Jurassic World Dominion.”
