A video of the Pakistani singer Rahat Fateh Ali KhanShahzaman’s son Fateh Ali Khan’s latest performance in the United States has gone viral on the internet. Netizens are stunned to see the similarities between how much Shahzaman resembles his great-uncle Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan.
In the video making the rounds on Twitter, Shahzaman is seen performing and leaving the audience mesmerized as he sings the iconic Nusrat song “Kinna Sohna Tenu Rab Ne Banaya.” Watch the video here:

Reacting to Shahzaman’s performance, music lovers took to Twitter and wrote words of thanks. One person wrote: “Rahat FAteh ALi Khan’s son. My god, doesn’t he sound like Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan?”, while another person wrote: “He has a similar voice to Nusrat, but both Nusrat and Rahat were much more polished qawwals at this age. Nusrat was really the best!”
Shahzaman is also quite popular among the Indians. The young qawwal reportedly performed at Anant Ambani’s 28th birthday party in Dubai in April.
Shahzaman and his father Rahat often play together and also perform together on stage. He once spoke openly about his father’s contribution to his musical journey. He had written on Instagram: “What a great father he is! Let me take his seat while he takes mine. Knowing that I still have to earn this seat, but still he wants to see me in this seat willingly. How blessed I am to have a father and a Ustad like my dad.”

Nusrat’s nephew, Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, until recently sang for Bollywood films until Pakistani artists were banned from working in India in 2016.
Rahat’s most iconic Bollywood songs include Kalyug’s “Jiya Dhadak Dhadak”, Omkara’s “Naina”, Namaste London’s “Main Jahaan Rahoon”, her latest Bollywood song “Tere Bin” featured on Ranveer Singh and Sara Ali’s Simmba Khan.
