shania twain stormed the red carpet Tuesday night in a sheer leopard-print dress ahead of her recognition as a music icon at the People’s Choice Awards.
Carrie Underwood, Olivia Wilde, Heidi Klum, Ellen Pompeo and Carmen Electra joined Twain on the red carpet as the stars shimmered ahead of the show at Barker Hanger in Santa Monica, California.
The 57 year old man country music The singer showed off her abs in Rodarte’s daring number, which featured an animal print bandeau top paired with a matching long hooded scarf, reminiscent of her “That Doesn’t Impress Me Much” days.
Twain’s daring ensemble was completed with a black velvet skirt, which hugged her hips and fell to the floor.

Amy Poehler presented Carrie with the award, to which Underwood thanked fans, saying: “What a wonderful early Christmas gift.”
Twain proved that she certainly deserved the Music Icon Award after performing a medley of her hits on the PCA stage.
Showing off her new pastel pink hair, Shania made multiple outfit changes throughout her routine before giving a heartfelt speech acknowledging how writing songs at a young age was her form of “escapism.”
“This is my favourite place. It never occurred to me how powerful lyrics can be when you can record them and share them with the world,” she said. “The greatest honor is that people have found strength and inspiration in my work. Thank you and I love you for that.”
