NYC high school cafeteria worker arrested for beating 16-year-old student: cops – Thelocalreport.in

A Brooklyn high school cafeteria worker was arrested Wednesday for beating a 16-year-old student during a fight this week, police said.

The 16-year-old victim told police that 59-year-old Josette Sandy struck him in the head inside Clara Barton High School on Washington Avenue near President Street in Crown Heights, authorities said.

She was arrested around 10:30 a.m. and charged with assault and harassment, police said.

The alleged assault stemmed from an argument between Sandy and the boy, police said. The nature of the crash is unclear.

The teen complained of pain but was not seriously injured. He was taken to the Kings County Hospital Center as a precaution.
