Nigerian loses his sister due to lack of beds in LUTH emergency

A Nigerian man on Twitter, @IamPrincegive, lamented that he had just lost his little sister, Debbie, because there was no hospital bed.

He narrated that she died in front of the LUTH emergency center and blames the greedy politicians.

In his words:

“Right in front of the LUTH emergency center, my little sister died this morning after waiting for more than 2 hours because there were not enough beds. I don’t blame anyone but the greedy politicians. Nigeria happened to you Debbie. Rest in peace.”

Netizens sympathized with him, with some of their comments saying:

“Oh, this is sad! All these little little things we use as a prayer point for Naija, a Wetin people abroad who enjoy daily. Imagine praying to get a bed in the Naija hospital.”

“Yet some are still campaigning to vote in this current yeye government in Lagos again, all in the name of the tribe, forgetting that avoidable hunger, suffering and deaths are known to no tribe. Rend the dead and may Niger never happen to America. Amen”
