NFL 2023: Eagles have tougher schedule force, Falcons have easier

The release of the 2023 NFL schedule will clarify when and where the 32 teams on its 17-game slate will play, but there are still some aspects of the schedule that are already known.

Even the opponents are known. Using the NFL’s 2002 scheduling formula, and updated to accommodate a 17th game in 2021, fans can be sure who will visit and where their team will travel for years to come. The only true variables are the finishing games in the same place.

The strength of the schedule is another aspect that is already known about the 2023 roster. By adding up the combined 2022 wins, losses and ties of their 2023 opponents, teams can understand the strength of their schedule.

Here’s a look at the strength of the schedule for each team.
