Newcastle and Manchester United look for a striker compared to Haaland –

Newcastle United are reportedly still keeping an eye on Slovenian international striker Benjamin Sesko.

According 90 minutesScouts for the Magpies were in attendance to see the 19-year-old in action last weekend.

The Magpies are also looking to strengthen their ranks ahead of a possible return to European competition.

Sesko is said to be on his radar, even though he has already sealed a season-ending move.

The Slovenian striker will join RB Leipzig from Red Bull Salzburg at a price “below market due to their relationship”.

This hasn’t stopped Newcastle, and Manchester United, from considering a move of their own.

And Leipzig might well be open to talks, as they may profit from Sesko due to the interest shown in him.

In exchange, whoever signed him could get a player who has been tip to become the next Erling Haaland.

Sesko has 14 goals and three assists in 25 Austrian Bundesliga games this season.
