Mojang has teamed up with NASA for their latest DLC in Minecraft Education. In the Artemis Mission DLC, you will be able to build a spaceship capable of taking you to the moon.
The Artemis Mission DLC will encourage you to mix and match blocks to see what works and what doesn’t for the spaceship. Throughout your build, you can see your ship in a hub that lets you know if it’s ready to fly into space. There will also be real world problems that you will encounter similar to those faced by NASA, such as basic coding that you will need to solve in the form of a mini-game to help get your ship to the final frontier.
Minecraft Education is a learning platform set in Minecraft. It is meant to help students develop skills such as communication, problem solving, and more. It’s also worth noting that Minecraft Education isn’t just limited to students. You can download it by visiting Minecraft website or in the Marketbut only for the Bedrock version.
What is remarkable about NASA’s Artemis mission is that they will be responsible for landing the first woman and person of color on the moon. In addition, astronauts are expected to explore more of the moon’s surface than ever before, and will also work to establish the first long-term human-robotic presence on the moon to help them one day reach Mars.
