A man claims he was drugged, kidnapped and raped by a group of young women.
A leather factory worker in his early twenties says he was shoved into a vehicle by four women as he was walking in the Punjab town of Jalandhar, India, on Monday, December 5.
He claims that he was then subjected to several hours of sexual assault before being thrown into a wooded area late at night.

The man detailed his allegations with local media after deciding not to speak to police at his wife’s request. She reportedly told him not to file a complaint as her family was more concerned that she had returned alive.
Recalling the alleged incident, the worker described being stopped by four women in a white car as he was traveling on foot along the city’s Kapurthala Road.

The women, who were reported to speak to each other in English but to the man only in Punjabi, asked him for information on an address which they handed to him on a piece of paper.
While looking at the paper, one of the assailants allegedly sprayed a substance in his eyes, causing him to lose his vision before passing out.
When he woke up, he was sitting in the car blindfolded and his hands tied behind his back.
He then claims that he was taken to an unknown location in the woods and drugged.
After forcing him to drink some of his alcohol, the four women allegedly raped him.
He says he was left at the site around 3 am with the blindfold on and his hand restraints still on, before finally returning home.
Local reports say that the Punjab Police Intelligence Department has launched an investigation following the reports, which means they have filed a complaint on behalf of the victim.
