A man is behind bars after a chase for a stolen vehicle on I-10.
Investigators with the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department said it started around 12:30 p.m.
Deputies reportedly saw the stolen vehicle in the area of Varner Road and Ramon Road in Thousand Palms. They tried unsuccessfully to stop the driver, who allegedly fled.
The pursuit ended when the suspect stopped the vehicle and ran in the Fillmore Street area of Thermal.
The suspect was found and arrested on various charges, including possession of the stolen vehicle and violation of probation.
