Nigerian physician and media influencer Aproko Doctor has advised women to make sure their cosmetic surgeon is qualified before undergoing surgery.
She made this tweet after another Nigerian woman died after undergoing a BBL which she described as dangerous and carrying great risk.
In his words:
“If you want to have cosmetic surgery, make sure your surgeon is fully qualified. Yes, every surgical procedure carries risks, especially BBL. A lady has just died here in Lagos after one of these surgeries. That she RIP BBLs can be dangerous and carries great risk, so she be careful.”
He noted that he is aware that all surgical procedures carry risks, but that cosmetic surgery, especially BBLs, carry the most dangerous risks.
