Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool want to sign Sergej Milinkovic-Savic from Lazio in the summer transfer window, according to CMW.
Liverpool linked with Lazio midfielder Sergej Milinkovic-Savic
The Italian media outlet has claimed that Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp wants to bring the midfielder to Anfield.
The former Premier League and UEFA Champions League winners are reportedly wanting to revamp their midfield department at the end of the season.
Lazio are reportedly ready to sell the Serbian international midfielder to Liverpool if they receive a transfer fee of 50 million euros (£44 million).
Juventus are also interested in Milinkovic-Savic, according to CMW, while there are reports that Liverpool’s Premier League rival Arsenal want to sign the Serbian star.
HITC Verdict: Fantastic potential signing for Liverpool
In our opinion, Sergej Milinkovic-Savic would be a brilliant signing for Liverpool in the summer transfer window.
The 28-year-old is a dynamic midfielder who is at the top of his game and could make an immediate impact at Liverpool.
The Serb has extensive experience in Europe, and we believe he would make Liverpool better and stronger in midfield.
Lazio president Claudio Lotito told the president The messenger in November 2022, cited by Fabrizio Romano: “Guess how much he’s worth, he scored a goal in the World Cup with an injured ankle and he’s the best midfielder in the world.”
We think if Liverpool can sign the midfielder for £44m then they should cut a deal.
In other news, Crystal Palace is now considering hiring a 66-year-old man who worked for them in 1998, not Hodgson.
