JUST IN: Once again, APC national president loses voting unit


For the second time in the 2023 general election, the national chairman of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, Senator Abdullahi Adamu, lost his voting unit in the gubernatorial and ongoing state caucuses.

The APC Chairman lost his voting unit at Agwan Rimi Ward, EC 20, getting 129 votes.

Davematics Ombugadu, the candidate of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, got 159 votes to win.

Adamu did not hand over his voting unit to the current governor, Abdullahi Sule, who is seeking re-election.

THE WHISTLE reported that Adamu lost his voting unit, district and local government to Peter Obi of the Labor Party in the February 25 presidential election.
