Thomas Teye Partey has spoken about the recurring injuries that have plagued him of late since he moved from Spain’s La Liga to ply his trade with the Gunners in the premier league.
Partey, who is approaching 30 this year, was known for being incredibly reliable and durable while playing for Atlético Madrid, but his time in London has been difficult and injury-plagued.
Comparatively, Partey missed just seven games for Atlético in more than five years in the first team, but was unavailable for 39 Arsenal games with seven different injury problems.

After scoring in Arsenal’s thrilling 3-2 win over Bournemouth last Saturday, Partey spoke to football.london and revealed the root cause of the games lost.
In his words; “Well, I think it’s the adaptation. If you go from a different league, normal things happen. I’m working on everything, I’m doing my best. I’m trying to help the team whenever I can. When I’m ready and fit, I’ll be ready to help the team.”
