There are four types of Muddy Eggs available in the game: Muddy Egg, Muddy Poison Egg, Muddy Slippery Egg, and Muddy Lava Egg.
How to get slimy eggs
To get Oozy Eggs, you will need to defeat Glurech the Abominous Mass, which is a slime boss that has a chance to drop this item. The Oozy Egg is described as a “transparent mystery egg”. Has a decent chance to drop the boss (about 18% per wiki). You can find this boss in the Dirt Biome.
Once you’ve obtained an Oozy Egg, you can place it in the incubator to transform it into a Cracked Oozy Egg, which will give you the Jr. Orange Slime companion. This companion will slow the movement speed of targets for four seconds and will also deal bonus damage against bosses. He describes himself as a “ooggy little fellow who’s ready for adventures underground.”

Once you’ve obtained a Slimy Lava Egg, you can place it in the incubator to transform it into a Cracked Slime Lava Egg, which will give you the Jr. Lava Slime companion. This companion provides +2 shine along with bonus damage against bosses and some melee damage. He describes himself as a “scorching little buddy who’s ready for adventures underground.”
Jr. Slimes are described as “Baby Slimes in a variety of colors, each dealing damage associated with their fully grown counterparts.” Remember, to hatch any of the eggs found in the world, you’ll need to craft the Copper Workbench (you can at the Wood Workbench), which was added in this update, so you can craft the Incubator later. You will have to be patient before your egg hatches in your incubator!
