As the results of Saturday’s gubernatorial and House of Assembly elections are known, voters in Kwara state are awaiting who will emerge as winners and losers.
In the gubernatorial election, the incumbent governor, Abdulrahman AbdulRazah of the All Progressives Party, Shuaib Yaman Abdullahi of the Peoples’ Democratic Party, Hakeem Lawal of the Social Democratic Party, SDP, others are fighting for the 1,407,400 registered voters in the state.
Governor AbdulRazaq wins Voting Unit
Kwara State Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq won his voting unit in the ongoing gubernatorial and House of Assembly elections.
The governor, who voted in his Adewole Ward Idigba Voting Unit 004 in Ilorin West, polled 243 votes to defeat the PDP candidate, who polled 58 voters.
