CoD: Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2 – Season 3 Reloaded Camo Events Guide

Season 3 Reloaded is now available Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 and war zone 2. In addition to the typical seasonal content, the mid-season update also includes a new camo challenge event. Here’s how to unlock all the new rewards.

Camouflage Challenge Event

This is a limited-time event with 10 class-specific camo challenges. For every completed weapon class challenge, you’ll earn the Dark Bones weapon camo to use on all weapons of that specific class. You can complete the challenges in multiplayer or in battle royale, but you’ll want to complete them all to get two completion bonus rewards.

• Assault Rifles: Get 250 operator kills
• Battle Rifles: Get 30 Operator kills with headshots
• SMG: Get 3 Operator kills without dying 30 times
• shotguns: Get 30 Hipfire Operator kills
• LMG: Get 50 operator kills while mounted
• marksman rifles: Get 25 Longshot Operator kills
• Sniper Rifles: Get 30 Longshot Operator kills
• Side arms: Get 50 operator kills
• Rocket launcher: Get 40 operator kills
• melee: Get 30 operator kills from behind

Complete all 10 challenges to earn another golden weapon skin, which is a universal skin for all weapons. You will also earn a “Trophy Hunt Reloaded” weapon charm for completing the event.

General tips

Equip useful perks and killstreaks. Choose the streaks and perks that give you more information. The UAV streak and Tracker perk are useful for locating your opponents faster. Overkill is another solid perk option, allowing you to equip two primary weapons for your custom class. This means you can equip a sniper rifle for long range engagements, but also work on your submachine gun challenge during close combat.

You’ll want to choose your map and mode for these wisely. Simple operator kill challenges will be best attempted with small map playlists in multiplayer. The unlikely challenges will require a bit more effort, and you’ll likely want a regular map playlist or Ground War. Just remember, AI opponents in Invasion mode do not count towards your progress.

Marksman Rifle kills must be at least 38m away, while Sniper Rifles must be within 50m to count as Long Shot. The easiest way to measure distance is to pair your sniper or marksman rifle of choice with the XTEN Angel-40 optic attachment. This optic will display the distance of your targets to ensure you get the long shot kill required.
