Chris Hughton has shared a list of the brave men who will represent Ghana when the Black Stars take on their Angolan counterparts in an AFCON qualifier.

After playing Palancras Negras on March 23 at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium, the Black Stars will travel to Luanda on March 27 for a rematch. Hughton appears to have stuck with the vast majority of the players who competed for Ghana at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.

In addition, Joseph Paintsil and Joseph Wollacott have rejoined the group after the latter’s injury prevented him from competing in the World Cup in Qatar.

In good news, Baba Rahman, who was Ghana’s weakest link at the World Cup, has been dropped, though an emerging report reveals he isn’t feeling well.

In June 2022, Ghana defeated Madagascar 3-0 and drew 1-1 with the Central African Republic. Hughton wants to build on these positive results and lead his team to victory in the Africa Cup of Nations.
