Chairman Wontumi takes A Plus back to court

It seems that the court battle between Ghanaian political president Wontumi and political activist Kwame A Plus will not end anytime soon as the latter has been sued again.

A Plus, Nana Ama McBrown and Mr Logic were sued by the Ashante Regional Chairman for New Patriotic Party (NPP) Chairman Wontumi over comments made on the entertainment show on UTV.

A Plus and the other contemporaries were charged with paying GHc 65,000 to the claimant, while Afia Schwar was fined 5,000 penalty units (GHc 60,000).

Chairman Wontumi has reportedly sued A Plus over certain comments he made on United Showbiz over the weekend. A summons order for Kwame Asare Obeng A Plus is seen circulating on social media.

A Plus is expected to be in court on December 13, 2022. The reason why A Plus is being dragged into court is not yet known.

Remember that on Saturday, Nana Ama McBrown apologized to Chairman Wontumi for interfering in judicial affairs and made some pronouncements they weren’t supposed to make. However, A Plus was seen on set saying that he would contextualize the trial and go to appeal because he is not satisfied with the trial.
