Cardinals officially release WR Chosen Anderson, save $12 million in cap space

The Arizona Cardinals made official what was what was reported would happen and as more or all expected it to happen. They announced the launch of the wide receiver Chosen one (Robbie)Anderson.

The move will save the Cardinals $12 million in salary cap space by 2023. He was owed $8.8 million in salary, $200,000 in training bonuses and a $3 million roster bonus.

The Cardinals acquired Anderson in a trade with the Carolina Panthers by a 2024 sixth-round pick and a 2025 seventh-round pick.

In 10 games with Arizona, he didn’t do well. He had just seven receptions for 76 yards. He managed just 209 offensive snaps.
