Capcom is creating a digital theme park to celebrate its 40th anniversary, the publisher announced as part of its recent Capcom Spotlight livestream.
The “theme park,” officially called Capcom Town, will include a digital museum documenting Capcom’s history, as well as “other buildings” the publisher has yet to elaborate on. A teaser site mentioned during the presentation, teaser.captown.capcom.comdoesn’t seem to be working as of this writing.
Fans can expect to visit Capcom Town on June 12, 2023, the same month as the publisher’s anniversary. That will put the arrival of the site just before E3 2023, which begins on June 13.
Other announcements during Capcom Spotlight included a release date and open beta for Exoprimal (which will also launch on day one on Xbox Game Pass), as well as a Ghost Trick release date and the arrival of a demo for the upcoming remake of Resident Evil 4.
