Drew Plitt is no stranger to playing football under pressure, having been a starting QB in Ball State University from 2016 to 2021. He passed for 2,541 yards and 18 TDs and rushed for 131 yards and two in his final season at Ball State. Unfortunately, he needed more to get drafted, as he went undrafted in the 2022 NFL draft.

He was later signed as an undrafted free agent on July 27, 2022. He tried his best to earn a roster spot with the Bengals, but was waived on August 23. Plitt finally signed up with the Arlington Renegades in September.
