Apple Music Replay wants to take on Spotify Wrapped head-on

It’s that time of year when Spotify Wrapped takes over social media everywhere and spawns countless parodies.

And now, Apple Music has a competitor. Apple Music has introduced Replay, which allows subscribers to see their best songs, artists, albums, genres, and more. This means expanded auditory information and new functionality, including a fully customized highlight reel.

If you’re a big fan of a particular artist, it will also let you know if you’re in the top 100 listeners.

On top of that, Replay will also tell you how many minutes you spent listening this year.

To view your Replay, go to replay.music.apple.com and sign in with the same Apple ID used for Apple Music. It is localized in 39 languages for the 169 countries and regions where Apple Music is available.

The replay will be available until December 31 and all ideas can be easily shared on social media or any messaging platform.

At the same time, Apple Music revealed its year-end charts, highlighting the best songs of 2022, the best Shazams, the best fitness songs, and the most read lyrics.

The Kid LAROI and Justin Bieber finished the year at number one on the best songs of 2022 with their collaboration “STAY”.

On the other hand, Hip-Hop leads the list of the best songs, with 32 of the 100 best songs of the year. Pop followed, with 23 songs on the chart, and then R&B/Soul, with 11 songs. Latin ranked fourth, with eight songs, followed by J-Pop, with six.
