Apple is adding a karaoke mode to Apple Music for subscribers to sing along to their favorite songs

Soon you’ll be able to sing along to your favorite songs just like you would on a karaoke machine with a new feature coming to Apple Music called apple music singing.

Apple Music Sing will combine real-time lyrics from Apple Music with the possibility to adjust the vocal levels of the song. Users will be able to sing along with the original artist or take over entirely.

Additionally, Apple Music Sing will highlight background vocals and will also have a duet view for songs with multiple vocalists.

Apple did not specify whether this feature would be available on all songs, though it did say that users can “sing along with the original artist’s voice, take the lead, or mix it up across millions of songs in the Apple Music catalog.”

there will also be 50 new playlists that will highlight this new feature and let subscribers sing to their hearts content.

Apple Music Sing will be available later this month at no additional charge and will be available on iPhone, iPad and the new Apple TV 4K. There is no news about Mac support.
