The leadership of the All Progressives Congress will meet with the party’s senators-elect and members of the House of Representatives-elect on Monday.
The meeting, which is scheduled to be held at the Banquet Hall of the State House, Abuja, will begin at 2:00 p.m.
According to an invitation signed by the party’s National Secretary, Iyiola Omisore, elected senators and elected members of the House of Representatives must attend the meeting with their Certificates of Return from the Independent National Election Commission.
The invitation read in part: “This is to inform all Senators-elect and House of Representatives-elect members of the All Progressives Congress (APC), that you are invited to a parliament with the National Party Directorate.
“The meeting to be attended by the President-elect and the Vice-President-elect will be held at the Banquet Hall of the State House, Aso Rock Villa, Abuja.
“Elected Senators/House of Representatives must come to the meeting with their Certificate of Return from the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) and must come alone.
“The meeting is strictly by invitation.”
He added that “all guests are expected to arrive early to allow for the screening and be seated before 12 noon.”
