Sony San Diego Studio has begun revealing player ratings for MLB The Show 23, starting with players who have received a rating of 99, the highest possible rating. At MLB The Show 23, five players received the highest rating possible, and the developers shared a few other high-ranking players as well.
Five players received a 99 rating for MLB The Show 23, the first of whom is the reigning American League MVP aaron judge of the New York Yankees. former MVP shohei ohtani Los Angeles Angels and Texas Rangers starting pitcher jacob degrom it also received the top grade of 99. Rounding out the club’s 99 is the reigning National League MVP Paul Goldschmidt of the St. Louis Cardinals and mike troutwho also plays for the Angels.
San Diego Studio also revealed some of the top-rated players who fell short of the maximum rating of 99. Justin Verlander of the New York Mets received a 98, Mookie Betts of the Los Angeles Dodgers received a 96, Max Scherzer of the Mets they also received a 96 and Corbin Burnes of the Milwaukee Brewers received a 95. Some other highlights include Bryce Harper of the Philadelphia Phillies with a 95, Manny Machado of the San Diego Padres with 95 and the Rookie of the Year for the National League. Michael Harris II of the Atlanta Braves received an overall grade of 89.
Sony San Diego Studio will continue to reveal player ratings and overall team ratings ahead of the release of MLB The Show 23, launching March 28 on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PS4, PS5, and Nintendo Switch. MLB The Show 23 will also be released as part of Xbox Game Pass.
