New-look jets are already making history before they blink.
Aaron Rodgers and Gang Green will be featured in the NFL’s first Black Friday game against the Miami Dolphins at MetLife Stadium. The match will be played on November 24, with kick-off set for 15.00
The Day After Thanksgiving game will be streamed for free on Amazon Prime.
“We are thrilled to be the home of the NFL’s first Black Friday game, and what better way to kick off this new tradition than with a rivalry matchup between the Dolphins and Jets,” Marie Donoghue, Amazon Global Vice President. sports video, said in a statement Wednesday. “On one of the biggest shopping days of the year, we’re excited to offer another way to delight Amazon customers and give all fans free access to this AFC East showdown.”
The Jets will learn their full 18-week roster Thursday when the league announces the full 2023 schedule at 8:00 PM ET.
It’s worth watching how many times Gang Green airs in prime time this season. With addition of RodgersRobert Saleh’s team saw a massive surge in interest across the league as the three-time MVP figures to elevate the quarterback-desperate team to another level.
Last season, the Jets had just one prime-time game, a Thursday night game against the Jacksonville Jaguars. That number should see a significant increase this season with a superstar under center.
