SCARSDALE, NY (AP) — Five Connecticut boys, ranging in age from eight to 17, were killed in a violent crash early this morning, police said. Police say the vehicle crashed on a New York highway on Sunday. Police believe the vehicle was being driven by a 16-year-old boy when it left Hutchinson River Parkway in Scarsdale, hit a tree and caught fire. Westchester County Police say a 9-year-old boy, the sixth person in the Nissan Rogue, was the sole survivor. The surviving child appears to have ridden in the rear door and cargo area and escaped with non-life-threatening injuries.
