(CNN Spanish) – The Secretary of Citizen Security of the Bolívar state, in Venezuela, Edgar Colina Reyes, reported this Saturday that 12 artisanal miners died on Wednesday, May 31, due to “respiratory failure” while working in a mine and after registering heavy rains. in the municipality of El Callao, without giving further details of the incident.
“At this moment we are in the identification process to later take them to the hospital and deliver them to their relatives,” Colina Reyes explained in a video posted on social networks.
